1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Talee (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Talee is provided to school districts, schools, and their authorized staff and teachers under agreements established with each organization.
2. Description of Service
Talee provides school management tools including, but not limited to, student and staff record management, class and schedule management, attendance tracking, hall pass management, building occupancy visualization ("Live Map"), notifications, and analytics dashboards for school districts, schools, and teachers.
3. Accounts & Access
Access to Talee is role-based and provisioned through your school district or school. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify your administrator immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, education-related purposes consistent with your role, and not to attempt to access data, buildings, or accounts outside your authorized scope. Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to circumvent role-based permissions are prohibited.
5. Student & Staff Data
Data entered into Talee by school districts, schools, and staff — including student records, attendance, and location data — remains the property of the applicable school district or school. Talee acts as a data processor on their behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
6. Service Availability
Talee is under active development and provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind while in this stage. Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talee and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.
8. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated as the product evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
